Terms of Service
Last updated September 2026
These terms apply when you use the PropertyVault app and this website. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can use PropertyVault
You must be 18 or over and live in the UK to create an account. You're responsible for keeping access to your email and your device secure, and for everything done through your account.
2. Your household
You can invite other people to share your vault. Everyone in a household can see and change what's in it, so only invite people you trust with that information. You can remove someone from your household at any time.
3. What PropertyVault is โ and isn't
PropertyVault gives you information to help you decide. It is not financial, mortgage, legal, surveying or tax advice.
Estimates such as property values, buying and running costs, affordability, journey times, flood and noise risk, and school distances come from public data, third-party sources and our own models. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Always check anything important with a qualified professional, such as a mortgage adviser, conveyancer or surveyor, before you rely on it.
Some answers are generated by AI. They can be wrong, so treat them as a starting point, not a final answer.
Property listings link to the estate agent's own website. We don't act for buyers, sellers, landlords or agents, and we're not a party to any sale or tenancy.
4. Your content
Everything you add to your vault, such as notes, photos, videos, documents and voice notes, remains yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to you and your household, only so we can provide the app. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, or anything unlawful.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- try to access other people's vaults or data;
- scrape, copy or resell PropertyVault's data or content;
- interfere with, overload or reverse-engineer the service;
- use PropertyVault for anything unlawful, or to harass anyone.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Subscriptions
Some features may need a paid subscription. Subscriptions are bought and managed through the App Store or Google Play. Those stores' terms apply to billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it. We'll always show the price before you buy.
7. Changes to the service
We're continually improving PropertyVault, so features may change, be added or be withdrawn. If we make a change that significantly affects a paid subscription, we'll tell you in advance. We'll also tell you in the app about significant changes to these terms before they take effect.
8. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We'll delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or that has been inactive for a long time, after giving you notice.
9. Our responsibility to you
We provide PropertyVault with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for decisions you make based on estimates or information in the app (see section 3). Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
